Every aspect of each <i>Random Composition<\/i> is determined by a random drawing and all of those aspects are drawn simultaneously to determine the appearance of the work. The aspects that comprise the <i>Random Compositions<\/i> are: height, width and depth; the color of the monochrome on the face; and the four images that are shown on the sides, top and bottom of the sculpture.\u00a0 These images are drawn from my archive of over 100,000 notational photographs, incorporating as wide a range of subjects as possible.
