Brandon Lattu teaches art at the undergraduate and graduate levels at the University of California, Riverside, holding the rank of Associate Professor.  His instruction centers on photography and core courses for undergraduates and independent study with graduate students.
Between 2015 and 2018 he served as chair of the Art Department.

During the fall of 2015 he gave a series of three lectures at the Southern California Institute of Architecture, focusing on digital dematerialization in art and architecture practice under the title: Expression, Elision and Destruction of Space in the Digital Era.  The titles of these lectures were:  Taxonomy of an Archive of Experience; The Decorated (butt)Plug; and From Institutional Critique to Erasure of Public Space.

Arts Building, UC Riverside, designed 1994, completed 2001, Frank Israel, Annie Chu, Barbara Callas of Frank Israel Design Associates
